The Indulgent Bliss Spa Manicure/Pedicure combo was the sweetest escape.  This Maybach of treatments included an exfoliating pineapple sea salt scrub, hot antioxidant oil/lotion, therapeutic massage, a mint cooling masque, warm towel wraps {around my arms/legs/hands & feet}, and ended with a hot paraffin wax treatment to soften my hands & feet.  I luxuriated in it all, melting into the chair while my neck and back were massaged simultaneously!

PARIS HILTON LAUNCHES NEW HAIR STYLING TOOLS

I actually like Paris Hilton.  She's such a girly girl and comes across as super sweet! Plus, she takes a fearless approach when it comes to style and is quite the savvy businesswoman to boot.  Paris' name has become it's own brand with ventures ranging from an apparel line, fragrances, publishing {remember 'Confessions of an Heiress' ?}, and now... HAIR?

Last night I attended Paris' unveiling of her new hair styling tools on the rooftop of the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills.  Hilton {who drives a Pink Bentley coupe}, showed up on the pink carpet wearing {guess what...} pink! Shown with Doug Reinhardt {above-left}, and alone {above-right}.

'The Celebrity Styler' is an All-in-one curling iron/brush with a rotating barrel and an adjustable temperature keypad.  The 'Styler' can be used to straighten or curl hair - I've never seen a curling iron quite like it!

'The Ultimate Brush' looks like a big ball with bristles and a pink handle, and is a tool used to detangle and help hair dry more quickly or to create volume and lift. You could probably do a fantastic blow-out with it too!

A line of hair extensions and other beauty products are in the works and will launch in the near future.  The gift bag was sweet, and featured images of PH.  Inside the bag:  'The Celebrity Styler' hair iron, one long Dream Catchers clip-on extension piece in electric blue {I was a wee bit confused by the blue hair -who wears that? Will be re-gifting it to some tween sometime soon.}, a full-sized 'The Ultimate Brush' and a little baby version of the brush {as a keychain} was latched to the handle. It was all so very pink and so very cute.  Thank you, Paris darling!

Spotted:  Paris, Kathy Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Doug Reinhardt {PH's beau who formerly dated LC on The Hills}, a few cast members from PH's 'My New Best Friend' show on MTV and a random mix of trendy Hollywood types were sprinkled around the rooftop deck eating yummy hors d' oeuvres {I ♥ Crispy Rice Sushi}, sipping champagne, and watching footage of PH's commercial for Dream Catchers {her line of hair extensions} on a huge white screen that spanned the width of the pool.

NAKED ALLURE

Supermodel Cindy Crawford, Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi, Actress Sharon Leal, Talk Show Host Chelsea Handler & Actress Eliza Dushku took it all off for Allure Magazine's May 2009 issue (and they look fantastic)!! "The Nude Issue" is all about taking care of your body, keeping that youthful glow, and being happy with the skin that your in. Cindy Crawford also lets us in on some of her beauty secrets that have kept her looking like THIS.... (WOW, work it-girl)!!

This issue makes me want to step my game up, and is oh-so-timely as I'm struggling with the extra few pounds that want to hang around after many "Eat-whatever-I-want-no-exercise-and-still-a-very-modely-size-2" years!! It's not easy to crossover into the "I'm-going-to-have-to-hit-the-gym-if-I-still-want-that-girlish-figure" territory!! Help!! I'm so loving all of the nakedness, nonetheless. Very sexy!These photos are beautiful! Padma's and Cindy's are my faves!

OK FINE, I'LL SHARE...

...but can you keep a secret???

My hair stylist has introduced me to the most delicious hair product yet, and I must admit my unwillingness (a.k.a. pure selfishness - complete with my arms folded across each other as I type) to disclose this sweet little find to the masses. Well, obviously I gave it some thought and have since changed my mind. It's so fantastic that it's almost criminal to keep it to myself so here it is from me to you with love (drumroll please)...

Why Moroccan Oil, you ask???

Well, I'll tell you. It smells TERRIFIC. Absolutely DELICIOUS! It reduces frizz, increases elasticity, enhances hair color and it gives your hair the most magnificent shine and gloss ever - AND it comes in a beautiful amber glass bottle with turquoise packaging (which just happens to complement the decor in my bathroom at home). Need I say more?? I use the oil when my hair is wet (to moisturize before styling), AND when it's dry (as a finishing oil). Moroccan Oil contains Argan Oil, from the Argan tree which grows only in Morocco. The fruit that the Argan tree produces is similar to an olive, except larger. Women in Morocco have used Argan Oil on their hair and nails for centuries to counteract the effects of aging and of the harsh, hot climate.
