It wouldn't be Grammy Week in Los Angeles without the over-the-top celebrations and events to color the days and nights leading up to the biggest night of the year in music! Lots of high-profile sightings as the stars hit the streets of LA in droves for some of the hottest parties:The Honey Collective on Thursday the 5th (not Grammy-related, but it was cool to see the artist known again as Prince there)! There was also a very gentlemanly St. Louis Rams player in attendance.
Rihanna's and Timbaland's Boulevard 3 bash on Friday the 6th was one of the highlights of the weekend. Sean Combs, Keisha Cole, Chris Brown, T.I., Tyrese Gibson, a couple of Black-Eyed Peas (and too many others to name) were spotted out at this over-capacity event!
On Saturday night, the Clive Davis Party at The Beverly Hills Hotel was the main event and the official Pre-Grammy star-studded celebration where Whitney Houston made a comeback, and the A-list set saluted music legend Clive Davis. Meanwhile, over in Hollywood, Ne-Yo held his annual McDonald's Midnight Brunch at The Kress. Lots of door drama at this one, but lots of faces came out to celebrate.
Robin Thicke, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and Morris Day & the Time rocked the official Grammy's after-party at the LA Convention Center last night. The Wolfgang Puck-catered affair hosted all of the Grammy guests and corporate sponsors well into the night. Later on, lots came out to the Def Jam/LA Reid after-party in Beverly Hills where everyone from Andre Harrell, Big Boi from Outkast, Oscar-nominated actress Taraji Henson, Sanaa Lathan, Nas and many, many others mixed and mingled. Even later, at Hyde, Jay Z, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Queen Latifah and others were sighted.
