OBAMA IS THE 2009 NOBEL PRIZE WINNER!

Just after 6 am this morning, President Barack Obama learned that he was awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize!  What an absolute honor to have our very own President in such distinguished company. The President was humbled as he announced today that he views this prize as a "call to action".  The Norweigian Nobel Committee voted unanimously for our President, noting his efforts to solve complex global issues, and to move towards a nuclear-free society, among other accomplishments.

I am so very proud to call this man, "Mr. President" and also impressed that the Nobel Prize Committee took such bold initiative to recognize his contributions toward the betterment of mankind.

On Oscar night (2.22.09), the President & Mrs. Obama hosted their first formal dinner at The White House with the nation's Governors who were in Washington for the annual National Governor's Association meeting.

All Oscar fashion buzz aside... Michelle Obama is a knockout in this dazzling Peter Sorenson gown and stunning Tom Binns crystal and pearl necklace. A new American fashion icon is born!

Michelle Obama graces the cover of Vogue's MARCH 2009 issue in regal manner! This is beautiful. The Annie Leibovitz photos were taken in the days just before the historic inauguration of Barack Obama. Her husband, our fearless leader. Michelle is the 2nd First Lady to be featured on the esteemed cover, after Hillary Clinton.

President Obama is also featured in the March 2009 issue of Vanity Fair.

We made it! Barack Hussein Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States today. Millions of people decended upon Washington, D.C. to witness this incredible moment in time. Consider the history books rewritten. In this photo, the President is being sworn in, with wife Michelle Obama (in a gorgeous Isabel Toledo dress & coat), holding the same bible used to inaugurate Abraham Lincoln. This is monumental.

THE RONI REPORT ENDORSES OBAMA

The Roni Report is back from hiatus and what better topic to discuss than this landmark election? We're in the final hour and Mr. Obama and his noble campaign continues to amaze us all!

Apparently, I am not alone. This weekend Obama earned the coveted endorsement of the highly regarded & deeply respected former Secretary of State, Mr. Collin Powell.

This is huge, people, and it speaks volumes that such an esteemed Republican would endorse the other party's campaign. President Barack Obama - doesn't that sound wonderful??
